I left all of you hanging here! What I find to be so helpful are the following 2 action steps: 1) Create a life list. Just like in the movie The Bucket List, write down the 15 big things who really want to be, do or have in your life. Don't think about all the reasons why you wouldn't able to get what you want. Put those obstacles in a "parking lot". Then your imagination can free-flow as you get the things that really make you happy out of your head and heart and onto the written page. That makes it start to become real. 2) Make a vision board. Like a life list, the vision board is a way to turn what you imagine into a visual that you can start to wrap you mind around. It also allows you to combine creativity with your imagination. I like and use both methods and as I write this, I have my vision board for my dream house in Martha's Vineyard posted on the wall.
