This was a great story! I was lead to your site to figure out how you implemented your Blogher code. (I'm having some trouble on mine. We have the same theme.) The word vagina in one of your posts distracted me. I totally appreciate your openness. I had a similar experience at a doctor here in San Francisco. I went to have my back door checked out and I had 2 gay doctors poking and prodding. My initial response was to laugh hysterically. The other thing I thought about about was why don't women like to look at their vaginas? What the big deal? It's your body. You don't have to love it like a guy loves his penis, but you can appreciate it like it's your arm or earlobe. It's ok to check it out once and a while. Otherwise, you're like a chef that doesn't like his or her own food. If you don't like it, why should I? I can honestly say, however, that the paper in the who-ha was never one of them. When my son was born they tried to break out the mirror to show me and I cant remember my exact words but 15 years later, I remember something like "please take that away, or I'll make you shove that thing up your own f'ing ass." Of course, now, I'm much more refined. I get to see my doc in 2 weeks. Thanks for the pre-appointment cleanup and safety tips. Remy I’ve had a lot of things happen to me in my lifetime. That sounds to me like a good reason for exploring your feminine field regularly. I'll certainly be checking mine. Because, let's face it, that was USED toilet paper... Hmmm.
