I love horse movies, as long as they have happy endings. I really loved Seabiscuit. My grandfather was a trainer/jockey and I’m told that when I was a toddler he’d take me to the track and put me on the lead ponies. I wish I had a photo of that because I have no memory of it, but that must be where my love of horses started. I look forward to seeing Secretariat.

And if you love good horse movies, rent “Big Spender” from Netflix. I wrote it. (Shameless plug)

I had a mouthful of coffee and when I read that last sentence, I snorted it. Margaret and I USED to get to do the coolest things when we USED to live in SoCal. Hey, isn’t that where you live? Don’t you regularly see the stars on your way to the market?)

When I saw the preview on television, I was mesmerized by the storyline- now, I know I want to see it. I am not a movie-goer so this a big deal… thanks for the heads up- will tell LT there’s a quadrant for him.
