The good news:
While I adore children, toddlers make abhorrent fashion accessories. And, no amount of Eau de Brittany covers the dirty diaper smell that chickypoo was sporting!

Oh, Jane, I am seething after reading this. I have to say, I notice a general sense of entitlement among younger folks these days. They don’t move out of the path when you need to pass them; they seem to feel no need to say “Excuse me” or “Thank you,” nor do they find it necessary to apologize when they’re in the wrong. I dunno. I swore I wouldn’t become a crabby middle-aged woman, but it’s hard to resist when clods and boors (like the mother you described) are out there being awful.

I admire your restraint. You gave her the dressing room and she still had to be a bitch…I would have cut her down to size with some razor sharp comment. I’ am an outspoken, raunchy member of the HagFest, but sometimes I prefer the term “Goddess”. We are just in our Goddess phase now.
