Wednesday Writers Workshop: New Year’s Resolutions

Make any resolutions that had to do with your writing? I have a box that is full of partially-written notebooks that are a testament to my annual resolution to keep a journal.  I never got much further with that than I did with similar vows to exercise daily or eat fewer carbs.

This year my resolutions seem, at least to me, less grand gesture and more in the realm of possible. Built into them is the prod of public witness: I will be reporting back from time to time on how I’m doing, what progress I’ve made and what dreaded roadblocks I’ve encountered.

So the Wednesday Writers Workshop prompt of this, the first week of 2012, is to invite you to join me in deconstructing just one of your resolutions.  As always, do it in the comments or on your own blog (send me the url if you want to share).  I’ll post my response to the prompt tomorrow.

Emailed you a link to my blog entry, though it doesn’t have anything to do with writing… :)
