I would imagine that most parents have moments when they almost hate their children, however, there are women who feign shock if someone even borders on feeling negative towards their child. I certainly have had moments that I’ve had to apologize to my kids, but there are only a couple people who I trust enough give them details because I know they understand.
I have a little schnoodle who looks similar to your dog. And just like I had to put my kids in the car and drive around the block on occasion, or in the stroller for a walk, I have to throw the ball or rub the belly or give a treat to my dog to calm her down at times.
Very well written post.

By the time baby number two came along I had mastered the nursing while changing thing…so I was able to immediately quite the screams for hunger while cleaning her wet bottom too. I wonder if a walk in the park might have been easier.

It is amazing how much better a walk in the fresh air can make everyone feel better huh?
