The Republicans at last got rid of eau de Tom DeLay by electing Boehner as their new majority leader. He defeated Blunt of Missouri, who was DeLay’s little pal. Boehner is described as having “feuded” with DeLay in the past. Clearly a man of integrity–and now, it seems, foresight.
