MLBBloPoMo–It’s not too late to join in

Years and years and years ago–an eternity in blog-post time–there was a cool challenge from Eden Kennedy to write a post every day for the month of November.  She called it NaBloPoMo after NaNoWriMo.  What?  You don’t understand that.  Okay, pay attention:

National Blog Posting Month                                National Novel Writing Month

Or some such thing.  It’s been a while, so I may have my acronyms confused (does that mean that there is acrimony among them?).

Whatever.  I enjoyed the Novembers that I did NaBloPoMo, even though I didn’t win a prize. Then as with so much in the blogosphere, NaBloPoMo got institutionalized as a monthly writing prompt and I lost interest.

However, lately I’ve been thinking about the whole post a day thing.  It’s a great way to get into a writing rhythm–which is, after all, The Crucial Thing For Writers.  So I thought I’d try it again, just here, just for us.

I promise, on my honor, etc. etc. etc., to publish a post a day on MidLifeBloggers for the entire month of November .  Care to join me?  We could call it MLBBloPoMo (give or take a day or two, like the 1st and 2nd!).  If you send me the url to your posts, I’ll publish the links every day here on MidLifeBloggers.

If nothing else, it should be a fun way of seeing who’s in the neighborhood.

    I guess I should have visited sooner. I’m six days behind now. :)

      Mpacks–
      Nah, it’s never too late. Are you gonna do it? Should I link to you?????

      Yay! yay! Did you see today’s post about my problems with yoga? Can’t wait to see what you’re saying!

    @JoannaJenkins,
    You are forever a faithful reader and for that, I am grateful!

    Writing every day isn’t as difficult as it seems if you don’t insist that every post be pithy and well-written. When I’ve done this before, it was often the posts that I had no idea what I was going to say, just more or less noodling on the computer, that surprised even me.

    I admire the ability to write every single day. I’ll be reading!

    And you were a fab looking witch! sorry you didn’t get many little monsters or princesses. Neither did we and it was so disappointing. The city’s budget cut cancelled the halloween party at the community center by our house that usually brought tons of kids…. which means I now have tons of leftover candy. THAT is dangerous!

    Happy writing, jj
