1. chocolate:
   Of course…without which life would be, etc. etc. etc.
2. cooking:
   And I’m finally getting to do it in my splendid new kitchen.
3. crafts:
   to be perfectly honest, what my greatest interest is is in buying craft materials. That often seems to satisfy my urge to do the particular thing. I am ready for the flood (which today’s paper says may be coming) in terms of kind and number of craft materials.
4. criminal justice:
   gosh, what was I thinking when I put this down? Must have been a spate of true crime show watching. I’m mainly interested in criminal justice these days for the lack of justice it entails.
5. decorating:
   Yeah! I am having a ball. There is a store up the street called Home Goods. It’s a TJ Maxx just for home stuff, including furniture.
6. dogs:
   I simply adore them…especially the glorious Molly, whose photo graces my journal.

   Repeats itself…well, sort of, in that people will be people and react to life in certain ways. But mainly I’m interested in seeing the arc of history–political, philosophical, social–playing out. I love context, congruencies, connections and so on.
