I have had an unwilling absence from the internet. My cable went out. Yesterday. Or maybe the night before while I slept. Of course I didn’t know that when, perky as could be, I took my coffee into my office yesterday morning to read the papers on-line. My perk faded pretty damned quick when I kept getting the Nobody’s Home signal from my laptop.
Insert here a major rant against Comcast. This is the umpteenth time my cable has gone out. And I don’t like the fact that they bought NBC either…
But that’s not the purpose of my calling you here today. It’s just to explain why this post, which should have gone up last night, is only now being written.

You know I would love to learn more about hormone imbalance and options regarding it. I like that this book seems to speak to a myriad of situations, and hopefully provides more answers besides just starting to pop pills!

I know a little about this topic. Raging hot flashes in the middle of the night. Counting the months since my last period-6.25 now, hoping to get to the magic 12 months so we can declare me done with menopause.. done with contraception, done with “oops, forgot the damned diaphragm-again”

Like Delicate Flower I know a little about this topic from personal experience. It’d be great to read up how to deal with this hormonal imbalance (other than what I’m already doing).
