Bits & Pieces: MidLife-Beauty, Blogger PR, BlogHer’12

It’s the third week in July. Will someone please slow down time! Okay, if life must go on, here’s what MidLifeBloggers is up to:

  • At MidLife-Beauty.com, we’re talking about face base, foundation, whatever you call that stuff we put on our faces to make us look all purty and stuff.  My go-to favorite is Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer which you can read about on the post aptly named, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.
  • We have a new member of MidLifeBloggers: Constance Meloche.  Go have a look-see.
  • Are you a blogger looking to up your PR ante?  I just took Cassie Boorn’s 5 Day PR for Bloggers Challenge.  The 5 days are over (Day 4 was my favorite) but you can sign up to do the challenge on your own by clicking the link above.
  • Are you going to BlogHer’12?  Looking to connect with your fellow MidLifers, but concerned you won’t find them in the crowd?  Tell us in the comments if you’re going and we’ll help you find each other.

I am always trying new skincare products. I am never sure if they are realy working well on my skin or not. I am turning 60 next month and would like to do all that I can to keep my skin looking good.
Can anyone share a regimen that has worked well for them? I don’t mind using products from different companies.
Right now I am trying eclos products but am not sure if they are working or not.

    Thanks!
    Sue from Illinois

Oh, and Laura, at this stage in life we finally rid ourselves of so many of the shackles that life’s put on us…we can FINALLY live it up right!
I”m headed to Paris to replicate what I did in NY. What are you doing for YOU?

  • http://astimegoesbuy.me/ Laura

Yes! At last I find a place for people like me!
Those of us over 40 who still have a lot of life to live. :)
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
    Cheers,
    Laura

oh, now I’m wishing I was staying for the entire conference. I loved last year’s BlogHer conference. And of course, any excuse to be in the city! Just felt it was too much with my upcoming trip to Paris.

I’ll be at BlogHer on Thursday for Pathfinders Day. Will you be there? Would love to meet you.

No, I won’t be there. But I’m a veteran of ’06-’09, so I know how hard it is to hook up with people if you haven’t made specific plans in advance. So I figured MidLifeBloggers could be an on-line meeting point and I can facilitate some introductions.

Jane, Lisa and I will be there and would love connecting – thanks for all help.
