Woe is me…

I hab a code in my node.  Ad my sinuses, especially the left one, are killing me.  But I can’t take Advil because it can give you heartburn and I’m already suffering mightily in that arena because Blue Cross put a whammy on my Prevacid.

Still, I’m trying to be cheerful, because last week our household endured D’s cold.  Which was, of course, not only the first and only, but also the worst cold ever to hit man.  He sighed a lot and walked around wrapped in comforters and sighed some more and generally had two expressions: rage, and Mary watching Jesus on the cross.  I gritted my teeth and made plans to put him in a nursing home or ship him off to his kids if/when he ever really gets sick.

And did I mention that I finally have my appt with the neurosurgeon at UCDavis who will be…I don’t know, taking up my aftercare???  I am carrying to him a CD-ROM with my angiogram from this summer.  He insisted.  His nurse told me not to even both coming if I didn’t have it in hand.  Now that’s warm and friendly.  I’m tempted to stick that disk in my laptop and peer at my arteries myself.  But I’m sorta scared to see whatever I might see.  Like those white spots from the MRI that indicated “past infarcts.”  I really don’t need to be reminded that I’M BRAIN-DAMAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!
