We cancelled it today because…………….we’re in escrow!!!! The house went on the market Tuesday, and we were fielding multiple offers on Friday. We countered, some agreed, one agreed and threw in some more cash for good measure and we signed on the many dotted lines. It is an obscene amount of money, but who better to get it, doncha think? They’re an all-cash buyer, so the escrow will be really short, but part of our counter was to stay here, paying a nominal (ahem) rent till August when our house in Sac will/should/must be ready.
