So–it is Sunday, early evening, beginning my third week as, once again, a gainfully-employed person.  I received my first pay check on Friday, and I’m not quite sure what to do with it.  Not really, but I’ll be glad when the automatic deposit begins and I don’t have to–oh drat–actually enter the bank.

I like the job, but I’m not going to talk about it here.  I’m a therapist, so I’ve got that whole confidentiality issue going.

Thus, I won’t be writing about what I’m actually doing, or who I’m doing it with.

I’ve been thinking about whether this will limit my blog.  I think it won’t, or at least not too much.  What I’ve always wanted to write about is my take on what’s going on, micro and macro, in the world.  Life, that is By Jane.

Pay is good. Very very good. I hardly ever go to my bank nowadays – do everything online or at cash machines.
Yeh, confidentiality takes priority… but is the journey to/from work okay? Reasonable places to eat lunch? Work environment okay?
Do you find the work impingeing on your mood outside work hours?
When I was doing divorce work, some cases would really bother me – situations of rampant nastiness and unfairness – I’d find them preying on my mind at home until I wrote down the details (apart from names) in a private file. Then I could move on and do other stuff.
