Michelle Goodrich – finding a friend, too late

Submitted by byjane on Saturday, 22 July 2006One Comment

Since I’ve moved I’ve been wanting: girl friends who are my age, people who think blogging is a good thing, friends who live in Sacramento.

I feel so alone at times because I only know people in Sac who are younger than I am and think computers are at best fancy typewriters.  So imagine my delight when I read  an interview with Michelle Goodrich who not only was a well-known blogger, but my age and from Sac.

Except that I read the interview as a link I’d followed on from an announcement that Blogher ’06 will have
a memorial service for her next week.  I’ve been hoping that when I go to Blogher ’06, I might make a friend or two from Sac.  Now I’m mourning one–how ironic, and not in a good way.
