When Teri Hatcher got home from a recent Desperate Housewives photo shoot, what struck her most after she’d washed her face and hair was the difference between what she saw in the mirror, the person she knows herself to be, and the glamorous image of herself, in full makeup and wardrobe, that the world would see in the photograph. “What’s the truth?” she wondered, and to find out she starting snapping what she saw in the mirror with her Blackberry camera.

Congratulations on the article– It was terrific.
I hope Cybil is right and the 60s are easier cuz I am not liking my 50s. Thanks to glasses, needing a magnifying mirror to put my make up on and seeing all my wrinkles larger than life is discouraging. Maybe by the time I’m 60 it won’t be so shocking to look at myself.
But…. Although Teri might have washed her hair and is showing off her lack of Botox– did she really wash off her eye make-up? If she did, I’m going to trade in my iPhone for a Blackberry. I know, meow, but I’m just saying.

Maybe she has eyeliner tattooed on.
Very nice, congrats. I’ve never heard of the site, but will stop by again and see what they’re all about!
