Hey, y’all. It’s Season Two of the web mockumentary, Pretty. Guilt-free sloshing in the barrel of kiddie beauty pageants with all the attendant political incorrectness you could ever hope for.
Here’s what I had to say about Season One. The critics raved, and it won both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Favorite at Shorts ‘N Spirits and “Best of the Fest” at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.
I just watched the first episode of Season Two and IMHO, it’s even better than last year. I certainly LOL. (Web 2.0 acronyms seem too too appropriate for Web 2.0 entertainment, yes?). There are twists in the story, new characters (including Joan Van Ark) and the amazing skewering of even more of America’s sacred cows.
