I don’t have enough to do. Editing MidLifeBloggers and MidLife-Beauty only takes up 98% of my time. There’s that pesky 2% that leaves me lolling on the sofa whining, “What now?”
The answer to that is this: Bits & Pieces, Informative & Not. It will be an occasional post that highlights what I’m hearing about, learning, seeing, wanting to share. Like…..
- New names on our Blogroll: Lori Dean from My MidLife Matters and Susan Snyder of The Overthinker Blog Go have a look; both are well-worth a visit.
- What’s your opinion on makeup foundation? Love it? Hate it? Don’t know what to do with it? A several part series on the subject has started on MidLife-Beauty, and we’re asking you to join the conversation.
- How hot and heavy are the Pro-Choice/Pro-Life wars going to be this election cycle? Jessica Gottlieb has a post in which both sides are weighing in. Can we even discuss this sensibly, reasonably and without resorting to hostility? Is it possible for us to agree to disagree? I hope so.

- Unassisted Living: Ageless Homes for Later Life is a hard-cover, glossy photo book by Wid Chapman and Jeffrey P. Rosenfeld which features all the different ways in which our generation will be dealing with housing as we age. The choices are multiple, which is fitting because the authors say, “No generation has ever placed such contradictory demands on later-life housing. The demand for both ease and engagement is new, a factor that will become increasingly important in home design as more boomers retire.”
And what’s on your mind?????
