Bits & Pieces: MidLife-Beauty, AARP, Weekly Reader
- The final installment of my disquisition on makeup foundation bases for MidLife-Beauty was posted on Monday. This time I reviewed two new products: Bobbi Brown’s BB Cream spf35 and CK One 3-in-1 Foundation. Go see which one I love and which I’m never going to use. Did you miss the MidLife-Beauty post on Bare Minerals from last week? It includes a a how-to video.
- Leafing through the July issue of whatever AARP is now calling their magazine, I came across a short piece promoting the technology how-to books they offer. I am a big fan of the For Dummies series. In fact, I built this very site, MidLifeBloggers, using what is now a well-worn WordPress for Dummies. I’m also a big fan of our cohort–the boomers and beyond–getting comfortable with technology.

- Sad but true: a bit of our youth is no more. My Weekly Reader has ceased publishing. I can remember how exciting it was to get my copy every week. Probably was the gateway drug to my still-going magazine habit.
